Redesigning Beemeral's Landing Page
Beemeral is a forward-thinking tech company based in Malaga, Spain, that is revolutionizing the way industries create 3D spaces with its No-Code, Web Based, Cloud technology.
With a focus on real estate, metaverse, gaming, and visualizations, Beemeral empowers users to easily design, build, and manage immersive virtual environments without any coding skills required. By offering a user-friendly platform, Beemeral helps businesses and individuals bring their ideas to life in a more accessible, efficient, and cost-effective way.
The second part of this effort aimed to streamline tour booking by allowing renters to choose from open time slots to schedule a tour instantly.
Understanding User Frustration:
Our project began with a deep dive into understanding the pain points users encountered on Beemeral's existing landing page.
Through extensive user research and analysis, we gained valuable insights into the frustrations that hindered conversions.
This phase provided the foundation for our redesign efforts.
Usability Testing: Feedback and Insights from Beemeral's Target Users
Through usability testing with CTOs, we gathered valuable feedback on Beemeral's
landing page.
Insights included the need to improve the product description with storytelling, create captivating visuals, reconsider the use of carousels, clarify the image and accompanying section, and enhance the media section.
Incorporating these insights improved the usability and user experience of the landing page.
User Persona
Creating a user persona for Beemeral posed challenges due to its target audience spanning diverse industries such as gaming, metaverse, visualization, and real estate.
After consulting stakeholders, the decision was made to focus on CTOs.
The user persona, Reliable Ricardo, represents a 32-year-old CTO from Malaga, Spain, earning around 80k per year. Ricardo seeks a tool with an easy-to-use 3D design interface and various export formats to optimize workload and suit different use cases.
Understanding Ricardo's needs and expectations, key features and improvements were identified for Beemeral's landing page and overall user experience.
User Journey Analysis
By analyzing the User Journey Map, we discovered significant opportunities to enhance the user experience for Reliable Ricardo.
These opportunities encompass offering a free trial of the product, providing flexible payment options, showcasing additional use cases to enhance his understanding of the tool, and highlighting upcoming features like customer support and regular software updates.
These improvements aim to enhance Reliable Ricardo's experience with Beemeral and address his specific needs and expectations along his user journey.
Identifying the Problem
After thorough discussions and analysis, our group was able to define the problem statement for Beemeral’s landing page.
Moodboard
As part of our process to redesign Beemeral’s landing page, we created a moodboard that captured the essence of the brand.
The moodboard revolved around five key words: innovative, creative, efficient, user-friendly, and intuitive.
To visually represent these concepts, we curated a diverse range of images, including a grandpa using VR glasses and a child engaged with a software/game. The aim was to convey that Beemeral is a user-friendly tool suitable for people of all ages, while also maintaining a professional appeal. It is versatile enough for industries like the metaverse and real estate, and does not require any coding skills for usage. The moodboard served as a visual guide to capture the brand's identity and inform the redesign process effectively.
Style Guide Development
The development of a style guide played a pivotal role in the redesign of Beemeral's landing page. However, this process presented challenges due to the need to balance the opinions of various stakeholders, including investors and team members, while prioritizing the user experience, specifically targeting CTOs.
Amidst differing opinions on color selection, our goal remained steadfast: to create a clean and professional visual aesthetic that effectively showcased Beemeral's assets and functionalities. Through careful consideration and collaboration, we strived to achieve a style guide that accurately represented Beemeral and appealed to our target audience.
High-Fidelity Prototype
Our high-fidelity prototype for Beemeral's landing page effectively captures the platform's essence. It features a prominent visual of a person in VR glasses, a captivating room creation animation, and a clear tagline. The linear dark blue color scheme adds professionalism. Key features and benefits are highlighted, along with a section showcasing Beemeral's assets. These enhancements engage users from the start, providing a comprehensive overview and empowering them to create captivating 3D spaces.

During the redesign process, we encountered varying preferences among stakeholders, particularly regarding the landing page's color selection.

- Navigating the Challenge of Defining the Target User
Defining the target user for Beemeral proved to be a complex task due to its aim to cater to multiple industries. To overcome this challenge, we embarked on a process of refinement, delving deeper into Beemeral's offerings and engaging in extensive discussions.
Through collaborative efforts, we narrowed down the target user to CTOs of smaller tech companies, who aligned closely with Beemeral's value proposition. We also considered the perspectives of stakeholders and potential investors, ensuring the landing page appeals to their interests.
This accomplishment allows the redesigned landing page to effectively address the specific needs and aspirations of the target audience. Continual iteration and refinement have resulted in a landing page that effectively communicates Beemeral's value and inspires users to explore the possibilities of 3D space creation.
